Pocket Paintings

Pocket Paintings started off as means to conserve paint and work through some ideas in a way that was expedient.

While painting larger pieces, I found that there was always a small amount of paint left over that I did not know what to do with. I was wanting to experiment more in a way that if I "messed up" it wouldn't be much of a problem given how little time I had spent. I found scraps of paper and began using my leftover paint to see how different layering and mono printing effects could interact with each other. One thing led to another and before I knew it they became addicting and have been growing ever since.
